Dj club ~ crash course

Coming to cyberjaya, i never planned to join any clubs here but 1 club attracted my attention... Dj club!!! it sounded so cool and also you get to be a Dj, that really moved my heart. so i decided to join this club since alot of my friends joined too... last fri, Dj club held a crash course for all the new members... we are supposed to be there at 5pm n by the time we reached there, there is alot ppl lining up for registration ad... this shows that this club is popular...the weather that day is really warm and now you can see why is it so hot?

(*ahem ahem* attention hor, this is according to my friend not me hor, dont missunderstand hor...)

anyhow, we thought the event would start at 5pm since its stated be punctual but you know loh malaysian style, delayed 1hour wan... so we got a little bit bored and we started to camwhore...

anyway, the event started at 6pm with a brief introduction from the emcees... then we are asked to divide into groups that they had assigned to us in the booklet to proceed to the 1st event which is the ice breaking...

i was assigned to group 2, with 2 senior Djs which is Dj Momo and Dj Blind leading the ice breaking group... They are really nice and tried to create a warm atmosphere but too bad our group is too cold and all of us froze up... i guess we r jus too tired as most of us jus afta class... afta introduction among ourselves, we played a game called duck duck goose? we will sit in a circle den a guy will touch every1 calling duck but if the person he touch n he say goose den de victim hav to chase the person b4 he sits back at the victim's place... ok, honestly we all felt its lame... den we change to another game call rumors, d usual passing message game... so as usual, bitch me will pass a totally different message that i got... oops, i jus let cat out of the bag... haha... so we still feel lame... den some other senior dj come by n teach some game duno call wat where u call a person hav to say his name while his 2sides will say power up den dat person hav to say other name... things start to heat up a little bit... we hav punishment where dj blind hav to sing negaraku infront of other groups n another dj senior hav to ask num from a guy... afta d games we proceed to hav dinner at about 7.15pm...d food is not bad... we actually had pay rm3 for this though... haha... so alot new members actually came to eat then go back... afta dat at 8pm we went back to the room to listen to a talk given by Mr.Lazi, de dj club advisor... he is also a lecturer in mmu teaching dj subject as well a dj... his talk is quite interesting as giv a little of the radio mmu background n information on how to be a good dj... he actually got quite a good voice in my opinion, d type of low vocal voice... his talk ended around 10pm den b4 he ends, he started passing out the microphones to ask the audience to try to be a dj... some of them were good... his session ended at 10.30pm... then we proceed to the department briefing... in dj club there is 4 deparments which is advertising & promotion, technical, Public relation n creative... so me, adelyn n david joined advertising & promotion... its a quick briefing from the managers... then we proceed to the slot briefing... zzz... so many briefings huh? but that is actually the moment that we waiting for, its the announcement of who is going to be on-air dj... d week b4 we actually had an audition on-air... there is 4 slots, english, mandarin, cantonese n malay... among all mandarin slot has the most participant... me, seng n david r in english slot while adelyn n yiap r in mandarin slot... so at 1st, the english slot manager announce that they will only choose 10 ppl out of 47... 10 ppl? wat???? dat time i thought my chances will be slim but luckily they called dj bondiva n dj bondiva is my dj nickname... i was happy but at the same time dissapointed as my friends were not selected... then only they mention actually every1 will be given chance to on air again b4 the next cut n they mention the 10 names they called out jus now is actually the best during the interview... i am like wat? bcos i seriously i didnt reli did well, i was nervous... anyway since every1 is in, i am happy... hehe... n wit dat d crash course ended... it ended at almost 12am... i am so dead tired... but b4 i end dis, i would like show u guys something interesting...look at the gal on d left of adelyn, she look mad at me taking photos wit the glare to kill... scary...hahahaha... darn tired so my post is so crappy... hehe.... love bonnie ^^...
